I'm a widow, so my room can be as girlie as I want. The steamer trunk was a gift from my grandmother. The rocker in the corner is one that my mom used to nurse me in when I was a baby. Even the girdle in the trunk came from family (it was my great-grandmother's!). Here is another angle:
I will probably repaint my room sometime soon, but for now, I like it!
I'm pretty jealous of the steamer trunk and the history with the stories, well, I'm jealous of that, too. I also love the plates on the walls.
